The tick is one of natures greatest example of a parasite that lives off the unsuspecting host and slowly sucks away that precious life blood until it's victim is dead or the little bugger gets his fill and departs. Socialism is in many ways like that blood sucking tick in that it too attaches itself to a healthy host in hope of a free ride. A ride that only last until the victim is sucked dry. Finally when the prey of the tiny predator is downed by sheer number of the attackers, both meet their ultimate fate.
