Sands in the Hour Glass

While commenting on an article by James on Right On concerning the Constitution and gun rights I began to think about all the rights I have seen slip away over the years. The following is the comment I left on "Right On":

The constitution is clear on gun ownership rights, but slowly over many years the state and federal governments have steadily and methodically chipped away at those rights as they have with other basic rights that we once had. Rights that the young don't even miss because they never experienced them. Sometime I see our rights, our freedoms, and our liberty's slipping away like sands in the hour glass. Once that freedom, that right is gone it does NOT return. It's gone forever and all the complaining and the moaning will never get it back. As the sands of the hour glass get lower and lower one can more easily see the change--the movement seems quicker although the rate remains the same. It's just that the remaining freedoms and rights are fewer and the loss of even one is sorely missed and more become aware of the approaching emptiness. If we are not careful this emptiness will be filled by something that is totally alien to our American way of life, something that will repress individuality, something that will stifle our remaining values, and something that will crush our children's future.

Extremism

While commenting on various post this evening I found a great one dealing with extremism at Social Sense titled "Right Cross" this post is thought provoking. The following is a summary of my comment.

Extremist and extremism are often misused and confusing terms to the casual political observer. Often the MSM is more likely to use the term when describing people on the right. Is actually comes down to the position of the person using the term. Someone on the far right might easily think of himself as moderate and someone who is a so-called moderate might be branded an extremist by many on the far left. In reality extremism and moderate have little meaning if one does not know the true position on the person using the words. This is a necessity in order to evaluate the position of someone. When I hear these words moderate or extremist I always ask who is saying that and what is their position. By using these words one is more likely branding himself than others, with what ever label he uses.

Today's extremist could be tomorrows moderate or today's moderate could become tomorrows extremist. Its not how others look at you and your positions, but rather how you look at yourself and your views that really counts. Things are always changing and the old and new orders will always be in conflict and will continue to replace each other as part of this protracted conflict. So in reality the words have little meaning other than to accentuate one's own position.

Death of Common Sense

An Obituary printed in the London Times -
Interesting and sadly rather true.

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
- Knowing when to come in out of the rain;
- Why the early bird gets the worm;
- Life isn't always fair;
- and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place, Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust, by his wife, Discretion, by his daughter, Responsibility, and by his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers;

The passing of Edward Kennedy is being felt by all---his family most of all (and I respect their grief), his friends and political associates, and finally his enemies. How one views his passing is determined by many factors to numerous to attempt to list. The 77 year old who spent over half his life the the U.S. Senate is now in the hands of his maker and will be judged by him. Historians will write his story either pro or con depending on their perspective.

The "Lion of the Senate" or the "Pussy of Chappaquiddick" is gone and will quickly fade into history. And quite frankly, history is a far better place for him and his radical ideals.

I say Mr. because I'm not sure you meet the qualifications to be president, since you have failed to produce conclusive proof to show you are a natural born U.S. citizen. That is strange, in that you feel justified in releasing classified papers which will in all likelihood endanger our troops---are your personal documents super top secret! You've released some of the most sensitive papers and photos of the CIA's activities to placate the left of your party which hates the military and has spit on returning troops coming home from past conflicts.

Mr. Obama, I not sure if you arrived here one step ahead of a Kenyan lion or on a surf board from Hawaii. I do know one thing however, you brought with you an alien ideology and are attempted to impose it on our American system. Yes, most Americans voted for you and for change, but not the draconian measures you and those on the left are putting forth. Barack, your idea of a socialist Utopia is not shared by the majority in this land. Americans are individualist and not collectivist.

You sir, do not understand history. Your ideals, your philosophy is old and discredited. One that has failed at every turn. I actually feel sorry for you. What you learned from your Marxist mother and the reverend Wright is a belief in a system that stifles individualism. You are a real danger to the America of Jefferson and Washington. The ideas you put forth are not even worthy of some third world despot.

Barack, you are attempting to remake America into a model that fits you twisted concept of what America should be. You are attempting to foment class warfare at every turn. This is a traditional Marxist tactic. Sir, this isn't Russia in the early 1900's where the class divisions were profound. We have a vast middle class and they will not be dragged down to the worker class of a socialist state. A state in which only the bureaucrats enjoy the good life.

If you continue down this path the only good life you and your family will have is the remaining days you have left in office--whatever that number may be. Your legacy will be that of all such tyrants who have gone before you. The history of your regime will be viewed as one of the darkest chapters in this nations existence.

Your attempts to build a Utopian society will fail. What you can not comprehend is that your dream for America is one based on alien ideologies. Ideologies that millions fled from and found safe haven under Lady Liberty's torch. Try, as you surely will, to snuff out the flame of liberty and the spirit of individualism you will fail. Your presidency is already doomed, sadly in your quest for Utopia you cannot see this.

This is America, land of the free and not some third world country where a tyrant such as yourself can work his will.

Obama's Change---Path to Revolution

The “changes” being wrought by President Barack Obama will have a profound effect on the nation’s future.

Barack Obama campaigned for the presidency on the central theme of “change.” American voters bought into his message, but now, after over six months in office, Obama’s “change” has turned into more of a revolution.

It’s a revolution that is indeed changing America and will affect citizens for years to come. He is doing this with acts of executive privilege, suspending or changing rules of legislation in Congress and adding controls and regulations. He is taking control of private businesses and calling for legislation on energy, automobiles and many other facets of daily life in America. Our foreign policy is being changed. He and his congressional cronies have jammed through legislation calling for massive debt. They are telling businesses what they must pay their employees; they are forcing banks to accept federal bailout money, then telling them how to run their banks.

The “changes” go on and on, and Obama makes it clear he is just starting.

How long will the public allow Obama and his congressional henchmen to take away freedoms and exert greater control over America? At first, many of his defenders tried to soft-pedal his “changes,” but now, even some of his most ardent supporters are starting to urge him to slow down, with some saying they intend to start voting against some of his efforts.

Granted, there are those on Wall Street and elsewhere who have abused their positions and privileges, and, in some cases, they should be punished. But Obama’s manner of punishment is far too broad and deep, “punishing” millions who had nothing to do with the excesses and bad practices of a few.

What is to limit the president and his government from taking control of any business in the country if he judges it is too large to fail?

If he and the government have the power to take over a particular business, what is to keep him from taking over businesses and/or telling all kinds of businesses what they can pay employees? How about telling Americans how to set their thermostats or what color of car they can buy?

It’s reaching a dangerous stage that will change America for decades, in domestic matters as well as in America’s position and stature abroad.

Run-a-way inflation will be the catalyst, the

spark, that ignites the great fire that will

sweep across the nation. Attempts will be made

to control it. The now, all powerful central

government, will mandate draconian

measures including wage and price controls.

These and other measures will prove

impudent in face of the onrushing events.

Incidents of discontent will at first be sporadic

but will continue with an almost geometric

growth in there numbers and intensity. Local

authorities will quickly find themselves unable

to maintain order and will call on the state

officials for help. The National Guard will be

sent into those areas most affected by the

ever increasing violence. The large urban

areas will bear the brunt of these quickly

escalating events. The Guard will soon

find itself powerless to control things.

The disturbances will be too numerous and

wide-spread. In desperation, the

President will order regular army units into

the most seriously affected regions. These

measures will meet with success in those

places where large numbers of troops can be

concentrated, however by this time the

violence has spread to the suburbs

and to some rural areas. The situation is

now, OUT-OF-CONTROL! The military leaders

will be the first to recognize this and will take

action against those in power, who they

now hold responsible for the cascading

violence now sweeping the nation.

The revolution is over and a military coup has

installed a new civilian government.

Unchecked this could be Obama's road to

REVOLUTION.

Obama's Shopping List

Recently, according to inside White House sources, Barack and Michelle upon visiting the sprawling White House freezer decided it was in serious need of re-stocking. So together the two set down and made out a grocery list containing the following items: watermelons, ham hocks, tripe, chittlins, hommey, chicken wings, malt liquor, grits, pickled pigs feet, and hog jowls. Guess this settles the issue of him being a closet Muslim. But then we all knew that he loves "Pork".

They presented the list to several Secret Service agents and sent them on their way to a market in Georgetown. Upon arrival at the grocery the agents began the task of filling the Presidents order. First they approached the watermelons and gathered up a quality of these tasty melons--noting they came from Mississippi (the president didn't have to know this, they thought-so they carefully removed the stickers). Next, they found the illusive ham hocks (gross they thought), and gathered in three times as many of the unsightly things as they had the watermelons. Next, was a hard to find item, the tripe (wondering what it was they scooped up four times as many packages of the tripe as they had watermelons in there fast filling baskets. Then it was on to the chittlins (they didn't have a clue what they were getting by this time) upon finding the little critters they quickly gathered up half the number of them as they had the tripe. Down the aisle they continued to the canned hommey, gathering up twice as many cans of this awful looking stuff as they had watermelons. Then it was on to the chicken wings, there they hauled in twice as many packages of wings as they had tripe. Down the aisle farther they found the 16 ounce cans of Malt Liquor gathering in an astounding number of cases---three times as many cases of Malt Liquor as compared to the number of packages of tripe. Whats a grit, they found them on isle 3 and proceed to gather three times as many boxes of grits that of the number of melons they had. The buggies were getting full, but being loyal Americans they continue on filling the order of Barack. Next they came across the pickled pigs feet--they recoiled--but grabbed up an astounding number of jars of the strange looking things, a number equal to four times the number of boxes of tripe they had captured earlier in their great expedition. Finally, they were standing in front of the infamous hog jowls and scooped up a number equal to three times the number of melons they had.

Not quite the end of the story. While in the store next to the George Washington University the agent's, being the trained men they are, took note on all the going on around them. During their trips up and down the aisles they heard the word "hoes" twice as many times as the number of melons in their baskets. And the word "mother-fuc...kers" was over heard twice as much as "hoes". Finally, the word "dude" was used an astounding number of times twice as much as "MF's". When they got back to the White House they were amazed at the numbers. Counting all the grocery items and the times "hoes, MF's, and Dude" were used the number was 2479.

My question is this: how many items of each was purchased and how many times were the three words used---yes there is an answer. The bigger question is this. How in the hell can anyone keep up with the spending in a trillion $1,000,000,000,000 dollar stimulus bill laden with more pork than Barack's and Michelle's grocery list. If this sounds confusing, then don't even tackle the U.S. House Medical Care bill---you'll really be lost and confused.

Obama and Socialism

The elites and academics all have told us over and over that Barack Obama is perhaps the most intelligent, one of the best educated, and certainly one of the greatest orators we have ever had as president. Is he all of the above, and is that why has these recognized leaders of academia and the east coast elitists are virtually swooning over his mere presence. What is this fascination with this heretofore virtually unknown senator from Illinois. Is it his undeniable charm, his youth, his appearance---what is the fascination these people have with Obama. Could it be the fact that he is black and that most liberals have deep guilt feelings toward the way they perceive blacks were repressed in the past and see this as a opportunity to somehow right a wrong. Perhaps its all of these. I do feel a need to point out however, that if Barack were a conservative then none of these things would cause liberals to support or much less praise this man. So the bottom line is not his race, is not his charm, is not his academic standing, is not his youth, is not his appearance, but is his political ideology. True his liberalism is the overriding factor and his other attributes are just gravy for the elites and the academics. He is in effect, everything rolled into one for those on the left. The tingle that Chris Matthews, and others of a like mind feel when they see and hear this man is no mystery, he represents all that they believe in. He is to put it bluntly, their god, in him they see a path to a new future and the prospect of the great society they have long envisioned. These, so-called progressives, do not like the America that has in most cases given them a great life, but favor the establishment of a new order in which the government will be the great equalizer and lift up the down-trodden (as they see them) in our society. They think that everyone has the same ambitions and drives that they have, and those that are left behind have only the a repressive government to blame. They see the existing form of government as the problem ---individuals, in their minds, are all eager for a better life. To them government, and only government has the ability to help those left behind. What the liberal cannot grasp, cannot understand is that the drive for success does not exist in everyone. Some are content with their positions, but many others feel that they are owed something---sadly, many fit into the category. They people are ripe pickings for the progressives; who with their misguided beliefs, think they can actually help. There is a common bond between these two groups---one who feels the are owed something and the other who feels they owe them something. The sad fact is that neither can, in the end be satisfied. Utopia is a wonderful dream, but a rational man will recognize it for what it is ---just a dream. The drive for perfection is often a good thing, but in an effort to gain equality the act of taking from one to give to another will in the end destroy the prosperity of all.

Obama thinks he is still flying high. He boards Air Force 1 with the salutes of our great men in uniform and takes off for parts all over the country and the world. The astounding number of trips this man takes will soon turn that proud plane into a "clunker". Today he's going to Colorado to take part in another town hall. "Take Part" is actually not true and town hall is an incorrect term for what these Obama outings are turning into. He will not take part he will run and control this event and the crowd will have little input, judging from past events---this is more campaign than citizen outreach and Obama will remain in his protective bubble carefully guarded by his handlers and staff. He still sees himself as "King of the Hill" when is fact he is quickly becoming a joke---nearing a court jester role. Yep, Barry your clock is winding down and with it your dark dream of a new America patterned after the twisted visions of Rev. Wright and those like him. We will all watch today as you enjoy your "Rocky Mountain High", but we will watch knowing that your high is ending with a big hangover and a crash landing.

Obama simply loves to hear himself talk and could care less about what others are saying unless they are in FULL agreement with him and his radical agenda. President Obama what are we going to do with you and your gang. Are we really stuck with you for the next 42 months or do we have some recourse. You love yourself too much and care little for the American people and even less for the country that has given you so much! Your recent town hall meeting have proven that.

A look at President Obama's health care "town hall" Tuesday in Portsmouth, N.H., shows the president out-spoke his audience by a margin of nearly 9-to-1 -- hardly the kind of even-handed exchange of ideas that marked the town meetings of colonial America.

Much has been made of the chance for true, interactive democracy offered by the freewheeling town hall format that lawmakers are using in health care forums across the country.

But what the White House is calling a "town hall meeting" does not quite follow in the tradition of the public-driven forums that sprouted centuries ago in New England.

It's more like a press conference for the public.

In an orderly fashion, selected members of the audience pose brief questions, and the president elaborates.

And elaborates. And elaborates.

A look at President Obama's health care "town hall" Tuesday in Portsmouth, N.H., shows the president out-spoke his audience by a ratio of nearly 9-to-1.

Here's the scorecard.

Obama: 8,619 words.

Audience: 1,186 words.

That's hardly the kind of even-handed exchange of ideas that marked the town meetings of colonial America.

But Carolyn Lukensmeyer, whose company America Speaks organizes modern "town meetings" across the country to tackle policy issues, said public officials in general no longer use that spontaneous, rowdy and interactive format -- even though they kept the name. Fox News

THE GIRL FROM TEXAS, COOL AS A CUCUMBER, PICKS UP HER BEER, DOWNS IT IN ONE GULP, THROWS THE GLASS INTO THE AIR, WHIPS OUT HER .45 AND SHOOTS THE MEXICAN AND THE IRAQI. WHILE CATCHING HER GLASS, SETTING IT ON THE BAR, AND CALLING FOR A REFILL, SHE SAYS, "IN TEXAS, WE HAVE SO MANY ILLEGAL ALIENS THAT WE DON'T HAVE TO DRINK WITH THE SAME ONES TWICE."

Outbreak: The Obama Bug!!

The first cases appeared early in 2008 and were confined to relatively small areas of the country mainly a few metropolitan centers and on some university campuses. In the beginning it was thought to be a somewhat benign virus affecting only certain minorities and some in the younger groups---those in the age range of 18-25 were found to be the most susceptible to this new and rapidly spreading virus. In the early stages of this outbreak, many thought it was confined and most went about their daily life's unaware of the approaching epidemic. Some sounded the alarm, but few listened and all the while this alien virus was growing and spreading rapidly. Whole areas of the west coast became infected and the new disease spread rapidly on the east coast while the major metropolitan areas of the country were hit the hardest. People were beginning to take notice of this spreading menace and attempting to understand why some were effected and some were not. A theory was quickly emerging, but no plan of action was taken to control the spread. It seemed that those most prone to the effects of this new virus were indeed those in the 18-25 age group and of this group it spread most rapidly among those in the confined classrooms on the great university campuses. Those in the same age group in the rural areas did not develop the symptoms of this new and unidentified virus. The first noticeable symptoms of this virus appeared to be a sense of euphoria and some early victims described a unique tingling feeling in their legs while others seemed to swoon while in large crowds, the most serious effects however was the loss of personal identity and individuality---a growing sense of herd mentality was beginning to develop among those affected. The new virus peaked in early 2009 when it was finally identified and attempts were initiated to quarantined and control its spread. A vaccine is now being developed at certain locations and will soon be distributed to the masses. Finally, the virus has been isolated and given a name, Obamaititus2008!

Congress and the Soldier

I think the vast differences in compensation between victims of the September 11 casualty and those who die serving our country in Uniform are profound. No one is really talking about it either, because you just don't criticize anything having to do with September 11. Well, I can't let the numbers pass by because it says something really disturbing about the entitlement mentality of this country. If you lost a family member in the September 11 attack, you're going to get an average of $1,185,000. The range is a minimum guarantee of $250,000, all the way up to $4.7 million. If you are a surviving family member of an American soldier killed in action, the first check you get is a $6,000 direct death benefit, half of which is taxable.


Next, you get $1,750 for burial costs. If you are the surviving spouse, you get $833 a month until you remarry. And there's a payment of $211 per month for each child under 18. When the child hits 18, those payments come to a screeching halt.


Keep in mind that some of the people who are getting an average of $1.185 million up to $4.7 million are complaining that it's not enough. Their deaths were tragic, but for most, they were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Soldiers put themselves in harms way FOR ALL OF US, and they and their families know the dangers. (Actually, soldiers are put in harms way by politicians and commanding officers.)


We also learned over the weekend that some of the victims from the Oklahoma City bombing have started an organization asking for the same deal that the September 11 families are getting. In addition to that, some of the families of those bombed in the embassies are now asking for compensation as well.


You see where this is going, don't you? Folks, this is part and parcel of over 50 years of entitlement politics in this country. It's just really sad. Every time a pay raise comes up for the military, they usually receive next to nothing of a raise. Now the green machine is in combat in the Middle East while their families have to survive on food stamps and live in low-rent housing. Make sense?


However, our own US Congress voted themselves a raise. Many of you don't know that they only have to be in Congress one time to receive a pension that is more than $15,000 per month. And most are now equal to being millionaires plus. They do not receive Social Security on retirement because they didn't have to pay into the system. If some of the military people stay in for 20 years and get out as an E-7, they may receive a pension of $1,000 per month, and the very people who placed them in harm's way receives a pension of $15,000 per month.

I would like to see our elected officials pick up a weapon and join ranks before they start cutting out benefits and lowering pay for our sons and daughters who are now fighting.

S.H.I.T. vs P.E.D.A.

A recent study done at the prestigious Sam Houston Institution of Technology better know as S.H.I.T. has found that flagellant emissions by Veegan's was three times higher than that of people who have a mixed diet of meat and vegetables. The extensive study was conducted over a five year period and included the participation of some 5,000 volunteers divided evenly between meat-eaters and non-meat eaters. Some environmentalist groups and P.E.T.A. located in San Francisco are already questioning the legitimacy of this report claiming that S.H.I.T. has large endowments from wealthy cattle ranchers, adding this report does not pass the smell test. Additionally, F.A.R.T. the Federal Association of Retired Tomato-growers has condemned the report. However, members of the Board of Regents at S.H.I.T. are standing by the results. Furthermore they are now claiming that by eating meat people are, in fact, cutting down on green house gas emissions countering the argument by environmental groups that livestock are contributing to global warming and therefore should be taxed accordingly. Scientist at S.H.I.T. point out a well know fact to back up their findings, "Bean-eaters fart more than Big Mac eaters".

Meanwhile inside sources at the White House indicate many of the staff are in disarray over the contents of this reports with some staffers and interns calling for a separate eating areas for the Veegans in the cafeteria and a designated Veegan break areas outside. As usually the President hasn't yet taken a position on these rapidly developing events. The situation on Capital Hill is about the same with some meat-eating Senators demanding Veegans be excluded from certain "closed door hearings". Things appear to be spinning out of control as both sides harden their positions. A few of the meat-eating Senators are now calling for a special tax to be levied on all beans sold in the country to buy carbon credits. The senior senator from Texas is planning to introduce a bill calling for a nationwide ban on Veegans in all public eating places, and in all closed places where large crowd gather. Again the President's position is unclear on this fast moving story. Outside the White House protesters from both sides are gathering with those on the Veegan side hurling unseen missiles at the meat-eaters! Capital police with gas masks have be observed arresting some of the Veegans and hauling them off in Hasmat vehicles. As this situation unfolds trading on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange has been wild with cattle futures soaring while bean futures are tumbling with most other commodities remaining stable. Meanwhile the man on the street was saying these stinking politicians have finally been exposed and he was grateful to S.H.I.T.

Although President Obama's public position remains neutral some White House correspondences report overhearing some muffled remarks yesterday as the president left the safety of his TOTUS. The meaning of these unguarded remarks is yet to be aired.

SEIU Attacks Protesters in Missouri

What the Obama administration is doing now in what one would expect by a Chicago Mobster and is normal in windy city politics. Barack and Rham are now attempting to stifle dissent with strong arm tactics by using the thugs from SEIU (Service Employees International Union) and have no doubt about it many of these "community organizers" are "1st Class Baboons" really the best way to describe them. Thugs is actually to polite a term for this scum. Recently at a town hall meeting in Missouri held by Democrat, Russ Carnahan many of these "Baboons" showed up at his event, some of them were let in the back door by the organizers of the event while those opposed to Obama's plan to socialize our medical care system had to wait patiently in line to be admitted to the event. Some of these SEIU pawns remained outside to hassle those who were there only to participate in the event. One of those these, an older black man named Kenneth Gladney who was passing out "Gadsden Flags" the well know and respected "Don't Tread on Me" flag was assaulted by six of the pawns from SEIU. Nothing and I mean nothing disturbs those on the left as the sight of a black man supporting protest against Obama's policies. Kenneth was push down and kicked by these unAmerican thugs, these baboons, these henchmen of Obama. I close by asking only one question: "Who is the mob here and who are the victims of this mob?" Obama has opened Pandora's box and will reap the whirlwind therein!

Obama: A One-eyed Jack

I generally, like to poke fun at this new occupant of the White House thinking like most that this is only another president and that things will change after the next election. But I'm beginning to face the stark reality that this maniac, this madman, could in just a few years destroy what its taken this country hundreds of years to build. I suppose the final straw for me was the new health care plan. Obama with his twisted understanding of history and his alien social and economic ideals, many of which he learned from the years he spent in the pews of Pastor Wright's church; will in the end not only change this country, as he has promised, but will destroy the very fabric of this great nation. He plan represents a threat far more formidable than any invading army could mount. Great nations generally fall from within, their fate sealed by the common masses who fail to see or understand the onrushing events. Events that are obvious to a few and invisible to the many. Such is the position we find ourselves in now. This man, this misguided fool, must be stopped. I beg, I plead, I pray that each of you raise the alarm---the enemy is not at the gates, but in the house; its not the Russians, its not the terrorist, its not the Iranians--its a charming, likable, young man who wants change. Unfortunately, its a change that will destroy this nation and its way of life. All despots think theirs in the road to greatness for their people's and this leader is no different. No doubt about it, he is a leader and his followers love and adore him and they wait with eager anticipation for his next words and the next words will come and flow over the masses and they believe. They compare him to past great leaders and look to him to provide them with a better life. He promises more and more and the people believe and revel in the changes he trumpets. Changes that will give birth to a new nation, changes for a new millennium. A casting aside of the old order and the establishment of a new utopian-like society where all the needs of the common man will be met. He tells the masses that our problems are so great that only government can solve them and he will lead us to greatness again. His vision of American is a dark one, remember he sat in Pastor Wright's pews for years and was completely indoctrinated by his message of an "evil and corrupt" nation. He disavowed him when it suited his purpose, but gradually we are seeing his true feeling about the Pastor's teachings emerge. Obama, in the end will reveal himself, but by that time it may be too late for this great nation to recover. Help me reveal, help me expose the other face of this "One-eyed Jack".

Obama's Bill of Rights

Below are the original Bill of Rights. Beneath each of the original Ten Amendments is a liberal interpretation of each (The Obama Dream for America)!


Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Pray shall be banned from all public building and public events. All references to God must be removed from public building of any kind and the word "God" shall no longer be used on American currency. Freedom of assemble to express grievances shall be restricted to no more than 10 people unless such groups are assembling under the guidance of labor unions or government worker groups. Freedom of the airways shall be completely regulated by the central government and no anti-government propaganda will be tolerated.


Amendment II

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
Ownership of all firearms shall be regulated by the federal government.


Amendment III

No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
The federal government and only the federal government will determine where U.S. Troops can be quartered.


Amendment IV

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
The federal government shall have the right to enter and search any home of persons SUSPECTED of conspiring against the central government or any official of that government.


Amendment V

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
All private property is subject to laws protecting the public good and can be confiscated if deemed to be necessary by the central government. Persons charged with hate crimes or crimes against the state can be deprived of "due process" when such action is deemed to be for the public good.


Amendment VI

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.
Federal jurisdiction can be imposed in all criminal cases with the concurrence of the Attorney General of the United States. An citizen may be detained indefinitely if charged with crimes against the federal government.


Amendment VII

In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise reexamined in any court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.
When rules of common law come into conflict with with the powers granted under recent federal court decisions those decisions will take precedent.


Amendment VIII

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
No bail shall be granted to those charged with crimes against the state.


Amendment IX

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
Rights not granted in this document are reserved to the federal government.


Amendment X

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.
Powers not specifically delegated to the individual states are reserved to the federal government.

The Free Lunch

As those in the Obama administration pat themselves on the back for what they see as a great success in the "Cash for Clunkers" program, officially know as "Car Allowance Rebate System" or CARS. Rumor are flying that the program will not only be extended but greatly expanded. Many in the West Wing are now calling for the program to be expanded from the measly $4,500 per car to $10,000 per car. It is estimated that this new program would bring some 30,000,000 clunker owners into the depressed auto dealerships. The cost of the new program would only be 300 billion, no where near the trillions already being spent. This would insure the survival of the newly created "Government Motors" formally know as GM. Those in the White House are giddy with the prospect of a real stimulus and at the same time putting tens of millions of poor people in new cars, something they were unable to do themselves in a repressive capital system geared toward enriching the already wealthy. The environmentalist are ecstatic about these rumors being leaked by the White House.

On the flip side used car dealers are facing the prospect of going out of business. Who will buy a used car when the government will give you a new one for nothing---well not quite nothing only $300,000,000,000! Fiscal watchdogs in Congress seeing the ever-increasing national debt are again sounding the alarm. Many on the right are now saying what is next---giving away free homes to stimulate the housing market, or maybe new more energy efficient appliances free to every homeowner who brings in their old model. Some are now saying why work at all if the government will provide all our needs. Turn in your old toothbrush for a new one, turn in your old shoes for new ones, turn in your old energy sapping TV for an energy efficient flat screen. Damn this is real stimulus---the demand for cars, TV's, other appliances, tooth brushes, shoes will all increase and the economy will boom. Wait, if we are getting these things for free what is the need to work to get them. So who will be the fools that will continue to work to provide all those free things the government is now giving us. Not me---I want my free stuff and I want it now. Obama says its my right--free medical care, free autos, free TV ---in short the proverbial "Free Lunch". Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!
