White House Leaks Truth about Obama's Birth

This is a re-posting of an earlier article. Due to continuing interest in the subject we are bringing back this post.
Unidentified sources inside the White House are quietly revealing, what has just been a rumor up until this time, that Obama may have indeed been born in Kenya. It is believed that these revelations are coming now, as a result of the ongoing effort by some groups to get the original copy of his birth certificate made public. At this moment the complete details are sketchy, but some details are emerging. It now appears that Ann Dunham (Mrs Barack Hussein Obama, Sr) had returned to Kenya with her husband of only 6 month in mid-July of 1961 to meet members of his Kenyan family. It is thought that while on this visit Ann Dunham learned of Obama seniors earlier marriage to a woman named Kezia in 1954 and that the two were the parents of four children. According to White House sources Ann, distraught and shaken leaves the senior Obama and goes to the nearby capital city of Nairobi and fearing for her life at that time seeks refuse at the American Embassy there. At first the embassy officials were somewhat reluctant to admit the young wife, but upon hearing her story of the death threats leveled at her by the family of Kezia, Barack seniors true wife they decide to give the young obviously pregnant girl asylum in the embassy. According to recently released embassy records the embassy was over-flowing with American nationals at that particular time due to a sharp spike in black nationalist activities directed at whites in the country. Because of over-crowding in the embassy proper, Ann was given shelter in a small shed in the rear of the embassy, a shed formerly reserved for livestock. The livestock had been removed several months before. It was in this former stable, that Ann unexpectedly gives birth to Barack Hussein Obama II, the current President of the United States. The anonymous sources at the White House are quick to point out two things: first, President Obama was born on American soil (U.S. Embassy grounds are considered under international agreements to be part of the United States); second, the ONE was born in a stable (the source was quick to emphasize this fact) for what reason we are not sure! Finally the issue is settled, Obama was born on American soil with his humble beginnings in a stable---the message here well I'll leave that to you!

Obama-Care & The Americian Medical Association

The American Medical Association has weighed in on the new health care
plan being developed by the Obama Team:

The Allergists voted to scratch it, but the Dermatologists advised not
to make any rash moves.

The Gastroenterologists had sort of a gut feeling about it, but the
Neurologists thought the Administration had a lot of nerve.

The Obstetricians felt they were all laboring under a misconception.

Ophthalmologists considered the idea shortsighted.

Pathologists yelled, "Over my dead body!" while the Pediatricians
said, 'Oh, Grow up!'

The Psychiatrists thought the whole idea was madness, while the
Radiologists could see right through it.

Surgeons decided to wash their hands of the whole thing The Internists
thought it was a bitter pill to swallow, and the Plastic Surgeons
said, "This puts a whole new face on the matter."

The Podiatrists thought it was a step forward, but the Urologists were
pissed off at the whole idea.

The Anesthesiologists thought the idea was a gas, and the
Cardiologists didn't have the heart to say no.

In the end, the Proctologists won out, leaving the entire decision up
to the assholes in Washington .

Who Am I?

Who am I?

I was born in one country, raised in another.

My father was born in another country.

I was not his only child.

He fathered several children with numerous women.

I became very close to my mother,

as my father showed no interest in me.

My mother died at an early age from cancer.

Later in life, questions arose over my real name.

My birth records were sketchy and no one

was able to produce a legitimate, reliable birth certificate.

I grew up practicing one faith but converted to Christianity,

as it was widely accepted in my country, but

I practiced non-traditional beliefs & didn't follow Christianity,

except in the public eye under scrutiny.

I worked and lived among lower-class people as a young adult,

disguising myself as someone who really cared about them.

That was before I decided it was time to get serious about my life

and I embarked on a new career.

I wrote a book about my struggles growing up. It was clear to those who read my memoirs that I had difficulties accepting that my father abandoned me as a child.

I became active in local politics in my 30's then with help behind the scenes, I literally burst onto the scene as a candidate for national office in my 40s.. They said I had a golden tongue and could talk anyone into anything.

That reinforced my conceit.

I had a virtually non-existent resume, little work history, and no experience in leading a single organization. Yet I was a powerful speaker and citizens were drawn to me as though I were a magnet and they were small roofing tacks.

I drew incredibly large crowds during my public appearances.

This bolstered my ego.

At first, my political campaign focused on my country's foreign policy.

I was very critical of my country in the last war

and seized every opportunity to bash my country.

But what launched my rise to national prominence were my views on the country's economy. I pretended to have a really good plan on how we could do better and every poor person would be fed & housed for free.

I knew which group was responsible for getting us into this mess. It was the free market, banks & corporations. I decided to start making citizens hate them and if they were envious of others who did well, the plan was clinched tight.

I called mine "A People's Campaign" and that sounded good to all people.

I knew that, if I merely offered the people 'hope' ,

together we could "change" our country and the world.

So, I started to make my speeches sound like they were on behalf of the downtrodden, poor, ignorant to include "persecuted minorities" like the Jews. My true views were not widely known & I needed to keep them unknown, until after I became my nation's leader.

I had to carefully guard reality, as anybody could have easily found out what I really believed, if they had simply read my writings and examined those people I associated with.

I'm glad they didn't.

Then I became the most powerful man in the world.

And the world learned the truth..

Who am I?

ADOLF HITLER.

Obama will throw Old People under the Bus and then in the Pot

As elements of the Obama health plan begin to surface from behind closed doors it is becoming increasing obvious the group that will suffer most under this new socialized government mandated plan is the senior citizen. Obama has a way of throwing people under the bus, people who cross him, groups who didn't vote for him. So guess what all you old people out there your group didn't vote for Obama, maybe you did, but your group you old people didn't fall into line and now, now you are going to get yours under the new health plan. Lets call it "Obama's Green Health Plan" even better and more truthful let us call this "Obama's Soylent Green Health Plan". For those who are not familiar with the term "Soylent Green" I've given a detail account below taken from "Wikipedia". This may seen like science fiction to some, but think about the current proposed plan and what its logical conclusion will be wrapped in Obama's radical environmentalsim. You old people use up most of the nations vital health services now--you all are getting old and your body parts are wearing out and getting more and more expensive to replace and since the government is now taking over the Health businss we can no longer tolerate this. Something has to be done and since you old people didn't vote for Obama, well you are the first to go. Cuts have to be made. And just think if we could hasten your end we could save even more, so next we need to establish a state program to encourage "euthanasia"--an easy step for liberals. And if enough of you old people don't voluteer for this program then let us provide incentives for the old folks to jump on the "euthanasia bandwagon". Promise to give the grand kids something, perhaps a college education---old people love those grand kids and will literally do anything for them. So now what to do with the millions and millions who have now decided to help their country and their grandchildern and become the new "greatest generation". Enter the most green of all green industries, the new and top secret "NSGC" The National Soylent Green Corportation. Harvesting a vast untapped new source of food, food to feed the hungry masses, food than can be exported to all parts of a starving world. Food that will provide revenue to paydown the national debt. This is the time, this is the true final solution, this is Obama Health Care at its best, this is "The Age of Soylent Green."

Soylent Green is a 1973 dystopian science fiction movie depicting a future in which overpopulation leads to depleted resources, which in turn leads to widespread unemployment and poverty. Real fruit, vegetables, and meat are rare, commodities are expensive, and much of the population survives on processed food rations, including "soylent green" wafers.

The film overlays the science fiction and police procedural genres as it depicts the efforts of New York City police detective Robert Thorn (Charlton Heston) and elderly police researcher Sol Roth (Edward G. Robinson) to investigate the brutal murder of a wealthy businessman named William R. Simonson (Joseph Cotten). Thorn and Roth uncover clues which suggest that it is more than simply a bungled burglary.

The film, which is loosely based upon the 1966 science fiction novel Make Room! Make Room!, by Harry Harrison, won the Nebula Award for Best Dramatic Presentation and the Saturn Award for Best Science Fiction Film in 1973.

Set in the year 2022, Soylent Green depicts a dystopian future in which the population has grown to forty million in New York City alone. Most housing is dilapidated and overcrowded, and the impoverished homeless fill the streets and line the fire escapes and stairways of buildings. Food as we know it today–including fruit, vegetables, and meat–is a rare and expensive commodity. Half of the world's population survives on processed rations produced by the massive Soylent Corporation (Portmanteau from soy(bean) + lent(il)), including Soylent Red and Soylent Yellow, which are advertised as "high-energy vegetable concentrates". The newest product is Soylent Green - a small green wafer which is advertised as being produced from "high-energy plankton". It is much more nutritious and palatable than the red and yellow varieties, but it is—like most other food—in short supply, which often leads to riots.

Processed "Soylent Green" ration wafersRobert Thorn (Charlton Heston) is a New York City police detective who lives in a dilapidated, cramped one-room apartment with his aged partner Sol Roth (Edward G. Robinson). Roth is a former professor who searches through the now-disordered remnants of written records and books to help Thorn's investigations. Roth and his like are known as "books". He tells Thorn about the times before the ecological disaster and population crisis, when real food was plentiful, although Thorn is generally not interested in the "stories".

Thorn is assigned to investigate the murder of William R. Simonson (Joseph Cotten). When he goes to the crime scene, he finds Simonson lying in a pool of blood from being struck multiple times in the back of the head. Instead of looking for clues, the poorly-paid detective helps himself to some of the wealthy man's food, liquor, soap, and books. He also questions Shirl (Leigh Taylor-Young), an attractive 24-year old prostitute (euphemistically known as "furniture") who comes with the luxury apartment, and Simonson's bodyguard, Tab Fielding (Chuck Connors), who claims that he was told to escort Shirl on a shopping trip when the attack took place.

Returning to his apartment, he gives Roth two large books he took from Simonson's apartment, the two-volume Soylent Oceanographic Survey Report, 2015 to 2019. Thorn returns to work and talks to the Chief of Detectives, telling him that he suspects it may have been an assassination, since nothing was stolen from the apartment and the murder seemed professional. He finds it odd that the luxury apartment's sophisticated alarm and monitoring electronics happened to be inoperative on the night of the murder, and his bodyguard just happened to be out of the apartment at the time.

After Thorn questions Fielding's live-in "furniture", he realizes she was eating from a "$150 a jar" of strawberry jam, which is an out-of-place luxury for the prostitute of a bodyguard. He returns to his own apartment to eat a meal of the purloined food, where Roth tells him that Simonson was a member of the board of directors of the Soylent Corporation, one of the most powerful corporations in the world. Thorn then returns to question Shirl, who tells him that Simonson had become deeply troubled in the days before his death, even taking her to church. Thorn later attempts to question the priest about Simonson's confession, but the priest is almost catatonic with exhaustion and does not reveal anything. Fielding later murders the priest to ensure he never talks. After Thorn begins to uncover evidence on why Simonson was murdered, New York Governor Santini (Whit Bissell) instructs Thorn's superior officer, Lieutenant Hatcher (Brock Peters), to close the investigation. However, Thorn refuses, and continues his investigation into the murder. Later, when Thorn is on riot duty during the distribution of rations, Simonson's murderer fires several shots at Thorn, wounding him, but Thorn is able to push his attacker under a riot control vehicle, a "scoop".

In the meantime, Roth examines oceanographic reports (that Thorn took from Simonson's apartment) with other intellectuals at the "supreme exchange," a library of old books. The other books convince Roth of a "horrible" truth, which despite reading it for himself he finds almost impossible to believe. The "books" intend to use the overwhelming evidence against the Soylent Corporation and to prove what Soylent is doing before taking it to the Council of Nations. Unable to live with what he has uncovered, Roth opts for assisted suicide or active, voluntary euthanasia (euphemistically known as "going home") at a government clinic. There, he is taken to a comfortable bed, is given a poison-laced beverage, and is shown panoramic views of an unspoiled pristine Earth as he dies. As Roth is viewing this, Thorn (who has since read a note from Roth that he is "going home") forces the staff to allow him to see and talk to Roth. He thus sees the earth as it once was for the first time. Overwhelmed at seeing what is for him such wondrous natural beauty, he is moved to tears. During Roth's final moments, he begs Thorn to prove the horrible truth about "Simonson... Soylent."

After Roth dies, Thorn sneaks into the basement of the government-assisted suicide facility, where he sees corpses being loaded onto waste disposal trucks. He secretly hitches a ride on one of the trucks, which is driven to a heavily guarded waste disposal plant. Once inside the plant, Thorn sees how the corpses are processed into Soylent Green wafers. After Thorn escapes from the plant and heads for the supreme exchange with the information, he is ambushed by Fielding and several other gunmen. In the shootout, Thorn kills some of the gunmen, but is himself wounded. He retreats into a cathedral filled with homeless people. After a desperate fight, Thorn stabs and kills Fielding.

When police backup arrives, the seriously wounded and nearly hysterical Thorn confides to Hatcher the horrible secret behind Soylent Green and urges him to spread the word: "Soylent Green is people! We've got to stop them somehow!"

The screenplay was based on the 1966 Harrison novel Make Room! Make Room!, which is set in the year 1999 with the theme of overpopulation and overuse of resources leading to increasing poverty, food shortages, and social disorder as the next millennium approaches. While the book refers to "soylent steaks", it makes no reference to "Soylent Green", the processed food rations depicted in the film. The book's title was not used for the movie since it might have confused audiences into thinking it was a big-screen version of Make Room for Daddy.[1]

The director Richard Fleischer, who began by shooting film noir thrillers after World War II, learned to do special effects in the 1950s and 1960s when he did a number of Science Fiction films such as 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Fantastic Voyage (1966). In the years before and after Soylent Green, Fleischer did films centering on famous serial killers and capital punishment (1968's The Boston Strangler and 1971's 10 Rillington Place) and the controversial and provocative Che Guevara biopic Che! (1969).

This was the 101st and last movie in which Edward G. Robinson appeared. He died from cancer twelve days after the shooting was done, on January 26, 1973. Heston was the only member of the crew that Robinson told (just before filming the scene of Robinson's character's death).

Robinson had previously worked with Heston in The Ten Commandments (1956). The female lead character, Shirl (Leigh Taylor-Young), is briefly seen playing a Computer Space arcade game, an early depiction of continual video game pop culture obsession.

In the film, after the aged Roth learns the truth about Soylent Green, he decides he can no longer deal with the world, and states that he is "going home". By this, he means that he is going to sign up for government-assisted suicide. When Roth arrives at the clinic, he is asked to select a lighting scheme and a type of music for the death chamber. Roth selects orange-hued lights and "light Classical" music. When he goes to the death chamber, a selection of Classical music plays through speakers and films are projected on large screens.

The "going home" score in this part of the film was conducted by Gerald Fried and consists of the main themes from Symphony No. 6 ("Pathétique") by Tchaikovsky; Symphony No. 6 ("Pastoral") by Beethoven; "Morning Mood" and "Ã…se's Death" from the Peer Gynt Suite by Edvard Grieg. As the music plays, scenes of majestic natural beauty are projected on film screens: "deer in woods, trees and leaves, sunsets beside the sea, birds flying overhead, rolling streams, mountains, fish and coral, sheep and horses, and lots and lots of flowers — from daffodils to dogwoods". Amidst the music and the scenes of nature, Roth remembers the world as it once was. Yet, he cannot peacefully take his last breath as he is pained by the beauty lost and cannot stand the awfulness of the real world. Roth struggles to tell Thorn about the secret of "soylent green," urging him to "prove it" before taking his dying breath.

In the film, police detective Thorn is a "prophet of doom" who learns of the "most horrifying results" of the overpopulation and environmental disaster. In addition to being a prophet, "Thorn is a pioneer, a tragic hero willing to speak up and resist homogenizing forces as an individual." In the film's depiction of corporate corruption and police complicity in the cover-up, Thorn's "morality transcends all those around him" as he becomes the "sole voice of reason" as he "stands alone". After Thorn learns of the use of human bodies to make food, his main concern is with the future implications: that the Soylent food company will eventually "raise humans like cattle." After Thorn is shot by Soylent Corporation gunmen, he appears to be mortally wounded, and so his warnings about the horrors he witnessed in the Soylent plant "seem to be his last", making him a classic "tragic hero."[2]

In the film, Thorn's assistant Roth "serves as the reminder of better times." The aged researcher, a former professor, tells Thorn about the past, when "'real' food was plentiful and the natural environment thrived." Real food is a symbol of the past; as a result, when Thorn investigates the murder of Simonson, a Soylent board of directors member, Thorn takes "lettuce, tomatoes, apples, celery, onions, and even beef" from the wealthy man's luxury apartment. These rare and expensive luxuries were out of reach for all but the most powerful members of the society. When Thorn shows Roth the red filet of beef, Roth weeps at his realization of how much society has lost due to pollution and overpopulation. Now that most humans subsist on processed ration wafers, when Roth sees the "real" food, he asks “How did we come to this?”[2]

After Roth discovers that Soylent wafers are made from human flesh, and decides to end the horror by signing up for government-assisted suicide, he is shown a montage of beautiful natural images in the death chamber: flowers, deer, mountains, and rivers. When Thorn rushes to the active, voluntary euthanasia clinic to try to stop Roth, he is too late to save his friend, but he is able to share Roth's final moments. In Roth's last minutes alive, "Thorn shares Sol’s nostalgic moment" as Sol asks “Can you see it?” and “Isn’t it beautiful?”, which helps Thorn to realize "what he and the rest of the world has lost."[2]

SciFi.com film reviewer Tamara Hladik calls the film a “basic, cautionary tale of what could become of humanity physically and spiritually" if humans do not take care of the planet. She points out that “[t]here is little in this film that has not been seen” in other films, such as the film's depiction of “faceless, oppressive crowds; sheep mentality; the corrosion of the soul, of imagination, [and] of collective memory.” While she notes that the director has a "tendency...to overuse Charlton Heston” in scenes depicting this beleaguered, futuristic dystopia, she admits that the film “often succeeds despite [the missteps of] its director".

Hladik argues that the “most powerful moments do not belong to Heston['s]" police detective character Thorn, whom she calls a “dubious, ambiguous hero”. Instead, she calls Robinson’s characterization of the aged police researcher Sol Roth the “most moving passages” which give the film “conscience and soul.” She acknowledges that the film has “imagery [that] is powerful and haunting”, such as the scenes in which riot control vehicles scoop up protesters with metal shovels, as if they were garbage. Her overall impression is that “the profundity of humanity's transformation [in the film] is dealt with in less than a masterful manner. Wikipedia

Barack's Radicalism

The longer President Obama is in office the more he shows, not the moderation he campaigned on, but his true political ideology and that is one who believes in those of doctrines championed by the far left. Sadly it does not stop there, he is now revealing the black radicalism that is embedded in his character. When he campaigned he was the one who would bring an open administration into Washington and stated he would reach out to those on the right and be a president for all Americans. He has already failed here. And as the truths are revealed about him, gradually he is discarding the mask hiding his true identity. All of the programs he is seeking to force on the American people center more and more power with a vastly expanding federal government with greater power invested in the executive branch, with fewer and fewer over-sights given to Congress---enter the Tsars! When traveling abroad he uses every opportunity to trash America and his apologies to foreign governments, for what he sees as America's past transgressions, are breath-taking. He seems to see America as the Iranian leaders do---the great Satan. Yes, he is part of the lefts "blame America" crowd. He seeks to befriend Americas enemies while pushing away our friends---Israel and Honduras to name but two. At every turn he is weakening the foundations of a strong America--whether his actions are deliberate or unintentional is not important, the result will be the same. He is driving a knife into the very heart of the American economy, with his Keynesian economics---economics that have failed or produced few positive results anywhere in the world. His action toward fast moving events on the international scene are slow and indecisive, unless those events are threatening leftist regimes such as in Honduras---where he moved quickly in an attempt to re-install a would-be leftest dictator. I use to think, this ignorant fool was indecisive, but have come to realize all of his actions are governed by his extreme leftest ideology. And they are calculating. Recently, he condemned police for their action against a black college professor siteing past grievances. He never waited for the evidence to develop in this case, because he had a preconceived opinions on this case. Yes, he is also part of the blame whitey black community and his action in this case show his true position on race relations in this country. He is in the same group as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, the only difference being his has far greater power to act on his beliefs. There is little doubt in my mind that this man is a black racist of the worst kind despite his lofty rhetoric on race relations. With professor Harry Gates, he thought he could slip by, but the truth came out and the story was getting out of control. So the professor was abandon and thrown under the bus just as Reverend Wright was before him. When he friends are exposed he dumps them so that the masses in this country will not see the real face behind the mask he wears. Well the mask is wearing thin and glimpses of the true radical, the real racist are being exposed and soon many will see his true identity.

The Old Man

The Old Man...

As I came out of the supermarket that sunny day, pushing my cart of groceries towards my car, I saw an old man with the hood of his car up and a lady sitting inside the car, with the door open.

The old man was looking at the engine. I put my groceries away in my car and continued to watch the old gentleman from about 25 feet away.

I saw a young man in his early twenties with a grocery bag in his arm, walking towards the old man. The old gentleman saw him coming too, and took a few steps towards him. I saw the old gentleman point to his open hood and say something.

The young man put his grocery bag into what looked like a brand new Cadillac Escalade and then turn back to the old man and I heard him yell at the old gentleman saying, 'You shouldn't even be allowed to drive a car at your age.' And then with a wave of his hand, he got in his car and peeled rubber out of the parking lot.

I saw the old gentleman pull out his handkerchief and mop his brow as he went back to his car and again looked at the engine. He then went to his wife and spoke with her and appeared to tell her it would be okay. I had seen enough and I approached the old man. He saw me coming and stood straight and as I got near him I said, 'Looks like you're having a problem.'

He smiled sheepishly and quietly nodded his head. I looked under the hood myself and knew that whatever the problem was, it was beyond me. Looking around I saw a gas station up the road and told the old man that I would be right back. I drove to the station and went inside and saw three attendants working on cars. I approached one of them and related the problem the old man had with his car and offered to pay them if they could follow me back down and help him.

The old man had pushed the heavy car under the shade of a tree and appeared to be comforting his wife. When he saw us, he straightened up and thanked me for my help. As the mechanics diagnosed the problem (overheated engine) I spoke with the old gentleman.

When I shook hands with him earlier, he had noticed my Marine Corps ring and had commented about it, telling me that he had been a Marine too. I nodded and asked the usual question, 'What outfit did you serve with?'

He had mentioned that he served with the first Marine Division at Tarawa, Saipan, Iwo Jimaand Guadalcanal. He had hit all the big ones and retired from the Corps after the war was over. As we talked we heard the car engine come on and saw the mechanics lower the hood.. They came over to us as the old man reached for his wallet, but was stopped by me and I told him I would just put the bill on my AAA card.

He still reached for the wallet and handed me a card that I assumed had his name and address on it and I stuck it in my pocket.. We all shook hands all around again and I said my goodbye's to his wife. I then told the two mechanics that I would follow them back up to the station. Once at the station I told them that they had interrupted their own jobs to come along with me and help the old man. I said I wanted to pay for the help, but they refused to charge me.

One of them pulled out a card from his pocket looking exactly like the card the old man had given to me. Both of the men told me then, that they were Marine Corps Reserves. Once again we shook hands all around and as I was leaving, one of them told me I should look at the card the old man had given to me. I said I would and drove off.

For some reason I had gone about two blocks when I pulled over and took the card out of my pocket and looked at it for a long, long time. The name of the old gentleman was on the card in golden leaf and under his name....... 'Congressional Medal of Honor Society.'

I sat there motionless looking at the card and reading it over and over.

I looked up from the card and smiled to no one but myself and marveled that on this day, four Marines had all come together, because one of us needed help. He was an old man all right, but it felt good to have stood next to greatness and courage and an honor to have been in his presence.

Remember, OLD men like him gave you FREEDOM for America . Thanks to those who served....& those who supported them.

America is not at war.

The U.S. Military is at war.
America is at the Mall.

If you don't stand behind our troops, PLEASE feel free to stand in front of them!

Remember, Freedom isn't "Free" -- thousands have paid the price so you can enjoy what you have today!

Racist Liberals

The left in the United States today is the party of a new racism. Most in the Democratic party maintain their power not by helping the black man, but by keeping him down and in his place, as they see it. Because this in the only way they can hope to maintain control and support, because the successful black man in this country is far less likely to be a pawn of the so-called liberal causes than the traditional ghetto black or blacks working for various governmental agencies. In reality, when most blacks lift themselves out of the ghetto they turn away from liberal causes and beliefs, these blacks have found that reliance on self and not on government is the road to real freedom. The left however, feels that the handouts they offer is the best way to maintain control. Because by giving someone something, something they do not have to work for, the spirit to work to succeed is stifled. The old axiom comes into play, "why work for something when it is given to you". Sadly most in the black areas sit with out-stretched hands waiting for the next handout from those on the left who are eager to give it in order to maintain control. Those whites on the left are the new plantation owners in modern America and only a few blacks will rise to the level of the "House Nigger", the rest---the vast majority will remain forever in the eyes of leftist-elitists---"Field Hands". And the new "Uncle Tom's", are those blacks who have risen to the position of "House Nigger" and maintain the typical liberal position of blaming "Whitey" for the woes of the oppressed "Field Hands". Welcome to Obama's post-racial America!

Obama is Violating His Oath

Obama has taken an oath to defend the Constitution and
defend the American people. He must think that the great floods
that may be caused by so-called global warming
are a greater threat to Americans than the possibility of having

Pork & Floating Turds

by Ron Russell
Money, "the root of all evil" or is it power thats--"the root of all evil". I think the answer in this case is both, but tilted in favor of power. These buffoons in congress who spend the tarp money, will want us to pat them on the back for building a new road. One we don't need between Podunk and Hog Hill. And a great bridge across Pigee's Creek connecting farmer Hamhock's home on the west bank to his out-house on the east bank. The creek will be a benefit in that the number of foreign bodies floating downstream will be decreased by an estimated 50%, although the over all catfish population may suffer because of their dependence on the floating turds. This has some environmentalist crying foul, the EPA nevertheless has given it stamp of approval. Saying that the benefits out-weigh the downsides. Fisherman upstream from the bridge seem to favor the construction of the bridge, those downstream are dismayed over the prospect of a smaller catch--not in just the quantity, but in the size of the individual fish. Farmer Hamhock is pleased and says," I've always voted Republican in the past, but from now on I'm Obama's man---I finally have a place to put my shi...t" end of quote---we're not completely clear as to what he meant.

Obama the new Fuhrer

The new Fuhrer is at the door,

saying give me more power and the economy will soar.

Things are bad and going down hill,

we can change that with his new bill.

He and all his men have the answers now,

so change the law and they will show us how.

New powers is all he will need,

to plant this new seed.

This is the plan he's trying to sell,

his plan is simply a road to hell.

House Committee Prepares to Tear down CIA to Protect Nancy Pelosi

The House Intelligence Committee will launch an investigation to determine whether the CIA broke the law by not informing Congress earlier about a secret plan to train teams to kill Al Qaeda leaders abroad.

Rep. Silvestre Reyes, D-Tex., chairman of the committee, announced the investigation in a statement Friday, saying the inquiry "will focus on the core issue of how the congressional intelligence committees and Congress are kept fully and currently informed."

Reyes said the probe will be conducted in a "bipartisan manner."

"As I have said in the past, the committee supports the efforts of the CIA workforce in its difficult mission to keep America safe," he said in the statement. "I intend to make this investigation fair and thorough, and it is my goal that it will not become a distraction to the men and women of the CIA."

The committee will determine whether the CIA violated the National Security Act, which requires, with rare exceptions, that Congress be informed of covert activities.

But the top Republican on the House committee is skeptical that the investigation will be conducted in a bipartisan manner, claiming that Democrats are "putting their partisan conclusions ahead of facts" because the facts don't support the idea that the National Security Act was violated.

"In the absence of substantiated facts, to even speculate on potential criminal behavior shows that this is little more than partisan, political theater and continues the politicization of important intelligence matters by Democrats," Rep. Pete Hoekstra, R-Mich., said in a statement.

CIA Director Leon Panetta told the committee about the program on June 24, a day after he first learned of the program and canceled it himself.

Panetta told the committee that as vice president Dick Cheney had directed the CIA not to inform Congress about the operation, sparking an outcry among Democrats.

Republicans have dismissed Democratic outrage about the Panetta revelation as an attempt to provide political cover to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who in May accused the CIA of lying to her in 2002 about its use of waterboarding.

Hoekstra echoed that argument in his statement Friday when he expressed hope that the committee can reach a bipartisan agreement on how to investigate the issue.

"But at no time will the Republicans of this committee agree to or take part in congressional Democrats efforts to tear down the CIA to provide cover for Speaker Pelosi," he said.

Michelle Obama: Flys to London for Fish and Chips

Michelle Obama Takes Girls to London for Fish and Chips

Truly change we can believe in --- or as was said during the campaign,

"We are the change we have been waiting for."

Imagine this --- and when do we get totally fed up?

A Boeing 757 and a fleet of armored cars for Michelle’s sight seeing tour!

Michelle One

On Sunday, President Obama flew back to the United States on Air Force One. His wife, two daughters and her mother did a bit of shopping in Paris before taking their own Boeing 757 (C-32) over to London to do some sight seeing.

We all remember Obama’s admonishment to corporate CEO’s in February:

“You can’t get corporate jets, you can’t go take a trip to Las Vegas or go down to the Super Bowl on the taxpayers dime.”

Apparently that doesn’t apply to his wife.

The London Times opened it’s description of Michelle’s visit this way:

Motorcycle outriders, armoured Chevrolets and bullet-headed men in raincoats criss-crossed London yesterday as Michelle Obama and her daughters spent a second day on an unofficial visit to the capital..

The Times went on to describe that when Michelle and the girls arrived at Westminster Abbey, the building was closed to tourists with people already in told to “wait against the wall.” An American visiting the Abbey said “Right then I knew it was probably someone from our ‘royal family’.”

Michelle’s motorcade shut down the London street above as the First Lady of the World and her children go for Fish and Chips at a pub in Mayfair . The entourage inside the restaurant was 15 people while dozens more wait outside. Include the dozens of Air Force personnel to fly and service the plane, embassy personnel and other staff and we are talking about a serious expenditure of tax payer dollars.

Meanwhile, millions of Americans have lost their jobs and won’t be able to take their family on a summer holiday.

Despite their circumstances they’ll still be expected to fork over the tax dollars to pay for Michelle’s trip.

Can you imaging the GALL of this our First Family?

52% WANTED CHANGE. 100% GOT SCREWED!!

Take This Obama!!!

GOOD ONE, OKLAHOMA!

An update from Oklahoma.

The state law passed today, 37 to 9, had a few liberals in the mix, an amendment to place the Ten Commandments on the front entrance to the state capitol. The feds in D.C., along with the ACLU, said it would be a mistake. Hey this is a conservative state, based on Christian values...! Guess what.........We did it anyway.

We recently passed a law in the state to incarcerate all illegal immigrants, and ship them back to where they came from, unless they want to get a green card and become an American citizen. They all scattered. Hope we didn't send any of them to your state. This was against the advice of the Federal Government, and the ACLU, they said it would be a mistake.
Guess what..........we did it anyway..

Yesterday we passed a law to include DNA samples from any and all illegals to the Oklahoma database, for criminal investigative purposes. Pelosi said it was unconstitutional.
Guess what........We did it anyway.

Several weeks ago, we passed a law, declaring Oklahoma as a Sovereign state, not under the Federal Government directives. That, for your information, makes Oklahoma and Texas the only states to do so. Guess what.........More states are likely to follow. Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, both Carolina's, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, West Virginia, just to name a few. Should Mississippi act, so will Florida. Save your confederate money, it appears the South is about to rise up once again.

The federal Government has made bold steps to take away our guns. Oklahoma, a week ago, passed a law confirming people in this state have the right to bear arms and transport them in their vehicles. I'm sure that was a set back for the Kennedys and Ms Pelosi.
Guess what..........We did it anyway.

By the way, Obama does not like any of this.

Return of the Blob

In 1958 a classic SciFi movie hit the movie theaters starring a young Steve McQueen. The story was simple and yet compelling. A strange meteor shower brought with it a small amorphous amoeba-like creature. The creature was a first small but grew as it devoured everything in its path. Eventually the giant "Blob" was as big as a house and threatened the small town of Downingtown, Pennsylvania. Enter our hero, Steve MeQueen who freezes the creature. The movie ends with the "Blob" being dropped by a plane in a remote Arctic area. The creature has recently re-appeared off the Alaskan coast. The re-emergence of this creature is probably due to the effects of global warming as many on the left are already claiming. Below is a picture of the creature, the BLOB and eye-witness accounts.

The strange biological blob drifting in the current in the Chukchi Sea off Alaska's northern coast.
It's big, it's black, it's gooey and it may be alive.

Giant blobs of thick, oily biological material are floating in the Arctic Ocean's Chukchi Sea north of the Bering Strait, reports the Anchorage Daily News.

"It's certainly biological," Coast Guard Petty Officer 1st Class Terry Hasenauer told the newspaper. "It's definitely not an oil product of any kind. It has no characteristics of an oil, or a hazardous substance, for that matter."

No one in the North Slope towns of Barrow and Wainwright can recall ever seeing anything like it.

Jellyfish and sea birds are getting caught up in the sticky, stinky stuff, which according to one official "has hairy strands on it."

"It's definitely, by the smell and the makeup of it, it's some sort of naturally occurring organic or otherwise marine organism," added Hasenauer. FOX News

MSM & Guns

While reading various posts about the recent shootings in NY I came across a thoughtful and interesting post at Right On Blog entitled "On Guns and Recent Events". In the post James points out the typical reactions on the left to gun violence and their standard call for more gun controls and their habit of always pointing the finger at the gun and not at the individual responsible for the violence. They also have a way of twisting the events and blaming the right in the country for gun violence.

While commenting on James' post I remembered the day JFK was shot in Dallas. I was attending Northeast Louisiana State in Monroe and staying with my grandmother. My morning classes were over and I was taking a short nap that fateful afternoon. Grandmother came into the room and woke me up and told me to come quick that Kennedy had been shot. Needless to say, I like most Americans was glued to the T.V. for the rest of the day. Only three major news channels in those days---ABC, NBC and CBS. I quickly noticed a developing theme. One of the major news anchors, I don't recall which one, commented that Dallas had been a hot-bed of right wing activity in recent months. The vast Right-Wing-Conspiracy was being developed and the theme spread to all three networks. Everyone, myself included, believed it. Then Oswald was captured and information about him began to come out. Shocker---he was not a reactionary right wing loon, but rather a committed leftest. He had lived in Russia and was a member of a pro-Castro organization called "committee for fair play for Cuba". Suddenly, the vast right-wing conspiracy was gone. But did a left-wing conspiracy take its place--logic would dictate that--no, that did not ever happen. The silence on this was deafening. The national news media had long before that time shown their colors, but to me this was the first time I really took notice of the bias they expressed under the banner of "Objectivity". Finally I saw the truth. And the truth was an ugly reality.

I came across a short article on the Kennedy and that fateful day in Dallas, its basically the reactions of a left leaning newsman recalling the event. Decided to include it in this post:

"It Was Controlled Pandemonium
I was on the copy desk, far from any action, but many things are indelible in my memory.
We were living in Largo. I was about to leave for my shift, which was afternoon-evening, when a neighbor came running to the door, shouting for us to turn on our television. That’s when I learned he had been shot, but not that he was dead.
I had to leave for work and there was no radio in the car. I took East Bay Drive, U.S. 19 and Haines Road to the Allendale area, and then drove through Allendale to Fourth Street. When I reached the corner, I saw a funeral home with its flag flying at half-staff, and I didn’t need a radio.
The St. Petersburg Times newsroom was in controlled pandemonium. I don’t recall whether I handled any assassination copy that day; more likely, I was editing state and local news.
But I was standing at the teletype when the first flash came in that a suspected Marxist, Lee Harvey Oswald, was being held in connection with the shooting. Times Publisher Nelson Poynter was standing nearby when I announced that.
His face fell.
"Oh, no," he said. "I was hoping it would be a right-winger."
In the days that followed, many of us helped ourselves to souvenirs: the half-tone engravings of John Kennedy that had accumulated in the library files. There came a time when we needed to illustrate articles that referred to the time, and we had to have new half-tones made because the ones already made had been so depleted.
We were expecting our second child any day. Names had already been chosen, but there was no doubt that should it be a boy, his name would be John. That’s how Daniel became his middle name when he was born a week later."
The key line in Dyckman's statement is "I WAS HOPING IT WOULD BE A RIGHT-WINGER." There was no way to spin this into a right-wing conspiracy because of the over-whelming evidence to the contrary. The left however, did manage to get stronger gun-control laws as a result of the events in Dallas. No more mail-order guns. One last note. I got my first gun a 22 rifle, when I was 11 years old---purchased it through the Sears and Roebuck Catalog. One of the happiest days of my life was when the mail carrier delivered it to the farm.

Cap & Trade: Road to Destruction

The tax and deceive bill recently passed by the U.S. House is a threat to the overall economy of the United States. In that it will raise prices on everything produced in this country--food, clothing, shelter the bare essentials of living. Everything produced in this country requires energy to make, and this new bill would put extra cost on all carbon based energy. Additionally, the bill would restrict future oil production, has no provisions for real nuclear energy development. And if passed by the Senate in its current form would provide massive windfalls for those companies who helped elect Obama. Something stinks to high heaven here and the MSM is failing to inform the American people of the impending disaster. Sarah Palin has recognized this and is speaking out and we must support her effort.

WASHINGTON -- Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who says she'll leave office at the end of the month, is already taking on one national issue, calling the Obama administration's plan to reduce greenhouse gases a threat to the U.S. economy.

In an op-ed piece in Tuesday's Washington Post, Palin attacks the administration's so-called cap-and-trade plan that would allow industrial sources to buy and sell pollution permits.

The plan, Palin writes, is "an enormous threat to our economy. It would undermine our recovery over the short term and would inflict permanent damage."

She adds: "In addition to immediately increasing unemployment in the energy sector, even more American jobs will be threatened by the rising cost of doing business under the cap-and-tax plan."

Instead, the former Republican vice presidential nominee says: "We are ripe for economic growth and energy independence if we responsibly tap the resources that God created right underfoot on American soil. Just as important, we have more desire and ability to protect the environment than any foreign nation from which we purchase energy today."

The climate bill passed by the House last month requires power plants, factories, refineries and electricity and natural gas distributors to reduce the emissions linked to global warming. It also calls for more power production from renewable sources such wind and solar energy, and raises energy-efficiency standards.

Palin surprised political observers when she announced July 3 that she would leave the governor's office while in the middle of her first term. The governor chose not to seek re-election and suggested it was unfair to hold onto the office as a lame duck.

She did take a shot at her critics in her Post essay.

"Unfortunately," Palin wrote, "many in the national media would rather focus on the personality-driven political gossip of the day than on the gravity of these challenges." FOX News

Obama Seeks to Control Israel

Obama now claims he knows how to handle the Palestinian issue and make Israel more secure under his administration. In other words the Israelis should hand the ball off to him and let him run the show since the Israelis and the previous Bush administration had failed to make any headway on the issue during the previous 8 years. I see no progress since the Six Day War during the 1960's. Since that time Israel has been constrained by external forces which have reigned them in and caused a no win status quo in that region. And now the final straw, Obama wants the Israelis to turn over things to him---a half-African Arab, I bet the leaders in Israel are laughing at this idea. Does this man, this great leader think the Israeli are complete fools!

WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama told Jewish leaders Monday that eight years of U.S.-Israeli unison in demanding Palestinian concessions has produced no results and asked leaders to give him time to try his tactics for a Middle East peace.

Obama assured 16 Jewish leaders that the United States remained steadfast in its commitment to Israel's security. But during a private hourlong White House meeting, the president told guests that he was asking Israel and the Palestinians alike to take concrete steps toward restarting peace talks -- and that would requires sacrifices from both sides.

Obama met with the leaders, who have fretted that he is being too critical of longtime ally Israel and too lenient toward Palestinians and their Arab neighbors. They privately complained that Obama delivered a speech to the Muslim world during a trip to Cairo but skipped a stop in Jerusalem.

"I think people were very direct with the president in expressing their views. ... I think the president was very candid in responding," said Alan Solow, the chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.

Participants shared their concerns that his public call for Israel to follow through on its pledges to stop settlements went too far -- especially during an Oval Office session with reporters. Obama replied that he's telling his Israeli friends in public the same thing he has said during private meetings, according to those in the Roosevelt Room on Monday.

Some participants in the meeting flatly told Obama that only when the United States are Israel are in lockstep support is any progress made. Obama replied that there was no distance between the U.S. and Israeli positions for the last eight years, and that no progress was made under President George W. Bush.

"Where people pushed back, the president stood firm," said Jeremy Ben-Ami, executive director of J Street, a pro-Israel and pro-peace political action committee and lobby.

Obama has been blunt in his demands for both the Israelis and the Palestinians to make good on their promises designed to bring about peace in the troubled region. To leaders, Obama reiterated the United States' commitment to Israel and redoubled his pledge that U.S. policy would never threaten that country's security.

"No one could leave that meeting with any doubt about Obama's commitment to Israel," said Ira Forman, executive director of the National Jewish Democratic Council.

Many left believing that Obama means well, but not necessarily convinced the United States' revamped strategy will resolve the conflict that has vexed U.S. presidents for decades.

"I think I share some of the same anxiety that others might have shared. ... But I'm prepared to give this new president an opportunity -- not just prepared, but I support him taking a slightly different approach than we're used to," said Rabbi Steven Wernick, executive vice president and CEO of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.

"I think he went a long way toward reassuring me, personally, about the good faith intentions and that the relationship (with Israel) is as strong as it's ever been," Wernick said.

Participants and White House officials said Obama didn't introduce any new proposals during the discussion but spent the bulk of the time seeking comments and trying to allay concerns.

Obama did, however, return to a favorite complaint: that U.S. journalists were seeking conflict, overemphasizing the importance of Israeli settlements and missing achievements in peace talks.

"He said that there's more progress than appears in the negotiations," said Malcolm Hoenlein, executive vice chairman and CEO of Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. Source FOX News

McCain & Levin Move to Block Funding for F-22 Jets

Here he goes again. McCain is again siding with the Democrats and the Obama Administration and calling for more cuts in the funding for advanced F-22 jets. These are front line aircraft capable of avoiding enemy radar and equipped with the latest electronic jamming devices. These cuts come at a time when China is going full bore ahead with its development and production of first line jet aircraft. This joint strike aircraft is a vital part of United States strategic defense program. McCain an ex-fighter pilot himself seems to have forgotten the value of defensive and offensive fighters---this plane is capable of both.

WASHINGTON -- Sen. John McCain, in an unusual alliance with the Obama administration, moved Monday to eliminate $1.75 billion recently inserted into the proposed 2010 defense budget for more fighter jets from Lockheed Martin.

The Arizona Republican, along with Michigan Democrat Carl Levin, filed an amendment to cut the extra money for seven more F-22's. The Senate Armed Services Committee last month narrowly approved the additional funding requested by Georgia Republican Saxby Chambliss.

McCain and Levin, the committee's chairman, voted against the additional funds. The full Senate may vote on the defense spending bill this week. The House last month voted to include a $369 million down payment for 12 additional fighters to its version of the defense bill.

The White House reiterated its threat to veto legislation that includes money to continue production of the radar-evading jets beyond the current request of 187 planes.

"We do not need these planes," President Barack Obama wrote in a letter to McCain and Levin Monday. "To continue to procure additional F-22s would be to waste valuable resources that should be more usefully employed to provide our troops with weapons that they actually do need."

McCain, who last year lost his bid for the White House to Obama, on the Senate floor said he will strongly recommend the administration veto the defense bill if lawmakers don't act to end F-22 production.

Supporters of the F-22 have said capping production at 187 aircraft is too risky with potential adversaries like Iran, North Korea and China looming.

McCain disputed such arguments. Focusing on timely delivery of the Joint Strike Fighter, also built by Lockheed Martin, is in the best interest of the country and will be a weapon system that can meet future threats, he said.

In a separate letter to Senate leaders Monday, Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said the Joint Strike Fighter is "more capable in a number of areas such as electronic warfare and combating enemy air defenses."

Chambliss and other lawmakers who represent districts where F-22 production jobs are at stake have lobbied hard to keep the program. Lockheed's primary manufacturing plant is in Georgia, but key parts of the plane also are made in Texas and California.

McCain said the rationale for keeping a weapon system should never be about job creation, but about defending the nation.

The extra money would extend production of the F-22 beyond the 187 aircraft that Gates says are needed. Gates has argued that buying any more of the jets, which cost $140 million a piece, will undermine the Pentagon's ability to increase the size of U.S. ground forces and purchase gear for fighting unconventional wars against insurgents.

The Great TOTUS Monument

Inside sources at the White House have now confirmed that plans have been drawn up for the construction of a new monument in the nations capital. Although, the plans are somewhat sketchy, at this time some details have emerged. Funds for the new structure will come from items hidden in the new budget proposal under the Department of the Interior (cost is rumored to be an astounding 400 billion dollars). The new structure will reach a towering 1110 ft. and 10 2/8 inches high, thereby doubling the height of the Washington Monument which reaches a height of 555 ft and 5 1/8 inches. Studies to change existing laws governing the height of structures in the nations capital are now being undertaken in secret committee meetings in both the House and Senate. It has also been learned that some White House staffers have been sent to Brazil and have approached the chairman of the DNPM, Department of Mineral Production about the purchase of the worlds largest quartz crystal now housed at the Museum of Earth Sciences in Rio de Janiero. This amazing crystal weights a unbelievable 90,000 pounds (the need for this enormous crystal in the construction of the monument remains unclear, at this time). In addition our sources have learned that contacts have been made with Tiomin Resource Inc.--a multi-national company with large holdings in Kenya. Orders have already been placed with their mines at Mambrui, Kilifi and Kwale on the eastern Kenyan coast; for vast quantities of titanium that will be needed in this monument.

Mystery has surrounded this structure. What is it going to be? What is its purpose? Will it be a great monument to America's first black president. Finally the truth is out and we have the full picture. Welcome to the "Age of TOTUS". by Ron Russell

CIA & Nancy Pelosi

The Democrates will do anything it seems to protect Nancy, their beloved speaker of the house. Including trashing the CIA and those in former administrations such as Vice President Cheney. They have a long history of this dating back to the Church commissions in the 1970's. They will do absolutely anything to protect Nancy Pelosi and it now appears that Leon Panetta the current head of the CIA may have come to Nancy's rescue, despite his earlier remarks that seemed to be in conflict with her previous statements. Something in definately going on here and the CIA is caught in the middle of a political dog-fight. This is not good for the security of the country.

WASHINGTON -- Former Vice President Dick Cheney directed the CIA eight years ago not to inform Congress about a new counterterrorism program that CIA Director Leon Panetta terminated in June, officials with knowledge of the matter said Saturday.

Subsequent CIA directors did not inform Congress because the intelligence-gathering effort had not developed to the point that they believed it merited a congressional briefing, said a former intelligence official and another government official familiar with Panetta's June 24 briefing to the House and Senate Intelligence committees.

Panetta did not agree.

Upon learning of the program June 23 from within the CIA, Panetta terminated it and the next day called an emergency meeting with the House and Senate Intelligence committees to inform them of the program and that it was canceled.

Cheney played a central role in overseeing the Bush administration's surveillance program that was the subject of an inspectors general report this past week. That report noted that Cheney's chief of staff, David Addington, personally decided who in Bush's inner circle could even know about the secret program.

But revelations about Cheney's role in making decisions for the CIA on whether to notify Congress came as a surprise to some on the committees, said another government official. All spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the program publicly.

An effort to reach Cheney was unsuccessful.

A former intelligence official who was familiar with former CIA Director Gen. Michael Hayden's tenure at the CIA said Hayden never communicated with the president or vice president about the now-canceled program and was under no restrictions from Cheney about congressional briefings. The official said Hayden was briefed two or three times.

Exactly what the counterterrorism program was meant to do remains a mystery. The former intelligence official said it was not related to the CIA's rendition, interrogation and detention program. Nor was it part of a wider classified electronic surveillance program that was the subject of a government report to Congress this past week.

The official characterized it as embryonic intelligence gathering effort, and only sporadically active. He said it was hoped to yield intelligence that would be used to conduct a secret mission or missions in another country -- that is, a covert operation. But it never matured to that point.

The Cheney revelation comes as the House of Representatives is preparing to debate a bill that would require the White House to expand the number of members who are told about covert operations. The White House has threatened a veto over concerns that wider congressional notifications could compromise the secrecy of the operations.

That provision, however, would have no effect on programs like this one.

The former intelligence official familiar with Hayden said Congress has a right to contemporaneous information about all CIA activities. But he said there are so many in such early stages that briefing Congress on every one would be too time consuming for both the CIA and the congressional committees.

The New York Times initially reported about Cheney's direction not to tell Congress of the program on its Web site Saturday. Fox News

Electing Dumb People To Do Dumb Things Is Dumb

by Alan Caruba

Just how close is the United States to being ruled by executive order? It’s a question worth asking given the flurry of executive orders issuing forth from the Oval Office.

It is perhaps a cliché, but it has long seemed to me that Republicans and, in particular, conservative Republicans, were the grownups while Democrats, liberal by definition, were the children; the ones that insist on instant gratification and for whom no lie is big enough to cover up their long history of failures.

Just over half of those who voted in the last election were so enthralled with the oratory of Barack H. Obama and the thrill of electing the first African-American President to office that they heard whatever they wanted to hear. I grant that the Republican candidate, John McCain, was no match for Obama. His voting record and general political views were so out-of-step with most Republicans that vast numbers of them stayed home rather than cast a vote for him.

The media played its role by elevating Obama to such heights he gained the mocking moniker of “the Messiah”. Time magazine put his face on the cover some thirteen times during 2008. An inauguration preview made it fourteen as 2009 began.

It helped, too, that the aptly named “Bush derangement syndrome” was in full throat to position George W. Bush (who could not run for a third time) as the cause of the economic bubble that burst toward the end of his second term.

When Bush first took office in 2001, he warned against “strong repercussions in financial markets”, but no one was listening. After 9/11 the nation’s entire attention was focused on the threat from al Qaeda and, thereafter, the war in Iraq. In 2003, when Bush Secretary of the Treasury, John Snow, testified in Congress that something had to be done about the cascade of failed mortgage loans being purchased by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, Barney Frank (D-MA) who is now the chairman of House Financial Services Committee, dismissed his warnings saying there was no crisis.

Efforts by Republicans in 2005 and 2006 to staunch the bleeding at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, two government sponsored enterprises, were defeated and, on September 7, 2008, both were put into conservatorship, another word for bankruptcy.

Prior to and ever since the Crash of 1929, the Democrats have seen a recession or depression as an opportunity to build party power. The latest Obama executive order strengthens union power which has long been in decline and for very good reasons. One of those reasons explains why General Motors is soon to be in bankruptcy.

Meanwhile, we have a Democrat President and a Democrat controlled Congress. As much as I have urged anyone who will listen to email, call, and fax their Senator or Representative to tell them to vote against the so-called “Recovery Act”, it is likely just a waste of effort. They like their predecessors in the FDR years are hell-bent to repeat the same errors that prolonged and deepened the Great Depression.

The voters have elected dumb people who will do dumb things and there is no foreseeable end to the pain and misery that will follow in their wake.

The federal government, the cause of the present crisis, needs to recuse itself from further mindless borrowing and spending if there is any hope to avoid the train wreck, but, that said, we have the wrong people running the train.

The United States of America is in peril of becoming the biggest banana republic the world has ever seen.

The Constitution

There are many today that would change the Constitution to conform to contemporary values and standards, values and standards that they believe in but that are alien to most in this nation. This is where the fight is and it is continuing struggle one that is part of the protracted conflict within the systemic revolution. In this struggle the old existing order is always replaced by an emerging new order, it is our job to define the new order and not let those on the left do this for us. The principles set forth in the Constitution are fixed and must not be redefined. The equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment has been used to bring about many undesirable changes and is continually being used by those on the left such as the ACLU to advance their agenda's. The interpretation of the Constitution is the important thing and we must always fight for those among us who will continue to stand by the values of the founders. It is never easy defending the status quo because in the end change will come. We must shape and control that change and use the Constitution as a beacon, as a guide, as a blueprint for a just America as those who have gone before us have done.

At this time in our nations history the Senate is again preparing to hold hearings on the confirmation of the latest justice nominated to SCOTUS, Sonja Sotomayor. The outlook for her confirmation seems almost certain at this time despite many disturbing comments and rulings in her past. The bright spot in this otherwise dim picture is that the balance on the court will not be serious effected at this time, since she will be replacing a retiring liberal member, David Souter. She will be questioned vigorously by Republican members on the Senate Judiciary committee regarding past statements and on past rulings, particularly those on "Ricci vs. Destefano" an affirmative action case involving the New Haven Fire Department. A ruling recently over-turned by the Supreme Court. And also her views on guns rights as set forth in the Second Amendment.

The Supreme Court has the final say on many laws passed not only by the federal government, but also laws passed by the states and local governments. In most cases, however it takes years for these cases to work themselves up through the system and reach the court. At that time the court rulings often change all our lives, one only needs to look at "Brown vs. Board of Education" and "Roe vs. Wade" to name but two. And many times the Court will actually reverse itself as it did in "Brown vs. Board of Education" when in that particular case it overturned "Plessy vs. Ferguson" , a case decided some 60 years earlier.

The Supreme Court is a vital component of the national government, but the founding fathers made have made a mistake in the way it was set up. Giving the President the power to appoint the judges and the Senate the power to confirm those appointments does not provide for a true separation of power. And the appointments being for life is something else that is troubling. But this is the system we have with all of its flaws and short comings.
